Position: Inside Sales Representative (Aurora, IL)

THE OPPORTUNITY:

As an Inside Sales Representative you will work collaboratively with our Operations and Sales teams to WOW our customers by building meaningful relationships with them and passionately driving to exceed their expectations. We are looking for a result-oriented associate with an understanding of servicing trade customers by providing comprehensive product and service information and resolving issues. The ideal candidate will work on our business-to-business team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

You will be empowered to take ownership of all aspects of each customer interaction and be expected to work collaboratively across all functional departments to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This position will be responsible generating revenue by maintaining existing customer base and provide lead generation for new customers. Developing sales opportunities by identifying potential accounts and soliciting new customers. Partnering with sales executives to manage priorities and provide customer focused strategies and solutions.

A typical day for a Inside Sales Representative may include:



  • Generate revenue on accounts by tracking, maintaining, and initiating feedback and building rapport within business
  • Initiate or Respond to customer's communication (voice/email, etc) within in a prompt and professional manner through proper communications.
  • Key role in growth and development of account relationships for the company.
  • Oversee relationships with existing accounts
  • Identify needs and requirements to promote company's solutions and achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Maintains existing customer base relationships and sales dollars.
  • Proactive review of business patterns to identify opportunities to increase sales of existing products, uncover new opportunities and recover lost sales.
  • Identify various contacts within each account to deepen relationship
  • In depth knowledge of Pregis PolyMask capabilities and be familiar with the entire Pregis offering for cross selling lead generation
  • Maintain accurate and organized reporting for all accounts
  • Partner with Business Development Manager and Account Managers
  • Establish blanket and agreement programs with existing and new potential customers.


  • Have in depth knowledge of all Pregis Polymask capabilities
  • Advanced product knowledge, processes, and departmental policies


  • Prepare timely and accurate quotations to existing and potential customers.
  • Working within established policies and guidelines to provide timely and accurate price quotes and freight options to partner with applicable sales team member to win accounts


  • Advanced product knowledge, processes, and departmental policies
  • Document key customer engagements and value provided to customer for retention efforts into Pregis CRM (C4C) to ensure customer service expectations are documented internally
  • Proactively calling existing and prospective customers to generate revenue opportunities for the business
  • Working with the Customer Success Manager to train other team members; and update/maintain documented procedures to support internal ISO requirements

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Associates or BS in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Proven experience (1-3 years) of inside sales experience, working with multiple product/service categories and a highly demanding, customer focused environment
  • Professional selling skills
  • Extensive knowledge of inside sales and customer service principles
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office; ability to manage and analyze large data sets and build customer reports
  • Solid business acumen, management, and problem-solving skills; ability to solve problems across multiple disciplines internally and externally
  • Knowledge of outbound calling techniques and Inside Sales reporting requirement.


  • Solid experience with customer service software and CRM tools.
  • Ensure all processes and key measurable are adhered to
  • SAP experience is preferred
