Update your Education and Job History. ** Cover letter required for all positions and optional for facilities, campus services, and hospitality positions unless otherwise specified.Job Description Summary The Staff Counselor is a member of a close and collaborative team of mental health professionals who provide comprehensive, confidential mental health services to a vibrant community of Wake Forest University-Reynolda Campus undergraduate, graduate, and professional school students. The successful candidate for this position will provide culturally responsive short-term counseling/therapy and crisis intervention to students and consultation and outreach to the WFU community. The University Counseling Center (UCC) is focused on providing equitable and inclusive services to the campus community, particularly to historically underrepresented populations. The UCC is a training site for master's-level interns, as well as doctoral psychology interns, for whom all staff members serve as supervisors, consultants, and mentors. The University Counseling Center is part of the Health & Wellbeing Team of offices within the Division of Campus Life. The Health & Wellbeing Team is comprised of the University Counseling Center/Safe Office, Deacon Health, and the Office of Wellbeing. The Staff Counselor works collaboratively both within the Health & Wellbeing team and across other departments as members of the Division of Campus Life to ensure delivery of integrated professional services consistent with the mission and strategic directions of Campus Life.Job Description Essential Functions:
