Huntsman is seeking a Global CAPEX Project Lead supporting the Performance Products Division located in The Woodlands, TX. This position will report to the Vice President Operations.

As the Global CAPEX Project Lead you will:

Lead and manage Global Capital Projects for Performance Products. Ensure application of Huntsman Engineering standards.

• Lead/support Key Global Projects in Performance Products in terms of appropriate technical solutions, timing and CAPEX.
• Ensure Huntsman Corporate engineering standards and Project Processes are being applied.
• Represent the division as a governance team member for Global Capital Coordinators Group & Project Process.
• Ensure application of state of the arts technologies.
• Support technical build up and optimization of manufacturing sites.
• Develop concepts and site master plans in alignment with Site Managers.

Global CAPEX Management for Performance Products

• Provide monthly CAPEX reports.
• Ensure appropriate forecasting numbers.
• Manage all processes related to CAPEX - Budgeting, Monitoring, Post Investment Review.
• Review & Approve Capital Projects (> 125 K USD) - Ensuring PSM / Project Process / CIG Requirements.

Required Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Education:

• Degree in Engineering. Prefer advanced education (MS, MBA).

Experiences:

• 7 to 10 years of experience in technical positions (production, technical services, site engineering).
• International exposure, awareness of cultures.
• Experienced in project management/controls.

Know-how/skills:

• Profound skills/understanding of/chemical engineering.
• Profound skills/understanding of process safety/environmental protection.
• Project management skills.
• Languages: English (fluently written and spoken).

Travel:
