Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is primarily responsible for using the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide care to assigned patients. Responsible and accountable for identifying and prioritizing needs, formulating the plan of care, prioritizing/managing/delegating interventions and collaborating with the physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team. The RN must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the needs of the patients served in each of the critical care units including; ICU, ED, ICS, SDU and Cath Lab (if qualified). He/she is expected to abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act as well as other regulatory and accrediting bodies.


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program
  • Must possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse.
  • Must obtain and maintain a current certification in BLS and ACLS.
  • Minimum 2 years experience, preferably in critical care, required hospital bedside experience.
