The Strategic Technical Solutions Manager is responsible for driving the success of the Talis technical solutions portfolio by providing guidance and technical expertise to the company's clients. The position is responsible for understanding the clients' needs, developing customized technical solutions and supporting their successful implementation.

Responsibilities



  • Leads the technical evaluation of strategic domestic and international customers' IT infrastructure to ensure compatibility and readiness for Talis software integration.
  • Exercises domain knowledge and experience to pre-emptively identify potential roadblocks to successful implementation and adoption.
  • Develops and leverages relationships with hospital SMEs and industry partners to drive cross functional and interdisciplinary process improvements.
  • Researches and documents market-specific technical and integration requirements for target markets.
  • Facilitates the secure and compliant management of patient data within the software system, ensuring robust data protection and privacy measures are in place in accordance with healthcare and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Creates and maintains strategy, procedures, and training plans for OUS technical resources.
  • Develops detailed technical project plans, including milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies for software deployment and integration projects.
  • Engages in strategic discussions with customer's IT leadership to ensure alignment of the software implementation with broader organizational goals and technological trends.
  • Works closely with clinical teams to ensure the software implementation enhances clinical processes and complies with healthcare standards and regulations.
  • Identifies, collects, records and analyzes data relevant to the customer's IT environment to assist in configuration purposes.
  • Negotiates with project stakeholders or suppliers to obtain resources or materials needed to accomplish requirements gathering, processing and implementing.


Preferred Experience



  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in technical solution design, consulting or related role for healthcare, preferably in a B2B or enterprise environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing complex technical solutions in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, networking, software troubleshooting, multi-platform environments, security and other related technical concepts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for driving business impact through technology.
  • Must be able to travel 20%
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.

Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
