This position is based in the following office location: Manchester, NHThe opportunity Under the direction and supervision of the Mechanical Trades Manager and Director of Facilities, the primary responsibility of the HVAC Mechanic Technician I is to install, repair and maintain a variety of equipment including refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, boilers, exhaust fans, economizers, humidifiers, make up air units etc. The position is required to participate in snow removal operations, which may involve nights, weekends and holidays, as well as in other maintenance capacities as required to meet the needs of the University. The position requires on-call rotation for any maintenance emergency after hours on a revolving basis with the other trades staff. And when emergencies arise be able to respond to campus or assist via a telephone call. Attend technical training courses which may include multi-day overnight trips. What you'll do:
