What you'll do

Are you an expert at developing and implementing "cloud-first" solutions? We are looking for a SWE/Cloud Engineer who can collaborate with others in the development of automated solutions that drive functionality and lower manual efforts, making the team and product more effective. They will have a solid understanding of the SDLC methodologies and tools to automate all things to improve efficiencies within the platform. You identify problems early, clear roadblocks, build trust with other teams, and communicate clearly and concisely. You're knowledgeable. You love sharing your unique abilities and challenge excites you!


The day-to-day

The successful candidate will integrate innovative software features from cloud-based collaboration applications.


What you'll need

7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience

Hands-on experience supporting deployment processes, patch management, encryption and security controls in an enterprise environment

Strong understanding of modern DevOps/SRE concepts, automation, configuration management, immutability, observability, site reliability.

Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, IPSEC, VPN, NAT, Routing Protocols, Firewalls, AAA

Proven technical expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code.

Cloud platform experience. Extensive experience with at least AWS, GCP, or Azure. Experience should be across multiple applications or projects.

Expertise with containers (K8s/Docker), Linux (Bash/CLI), Windows, CI/CD, log management (ELK or similar), message queues.

Prior experience in building automated solutions through tools and software that enable infrastructure to be remotely provisioned, configured and decommissioned.

Ability to lead systems deployment process including: concept, design, creation, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal of systems and services.

Strong scripting/software proficiencies using multiple languages.

Ensures all responsibilities include proper documentation for creation, deployment, patching, securing, asset tracking, lifecycle and hardware/software support.

Understanding of role based access controls, identities, and authentication methods.

Practical Agile and/or DevOps experience with a technical team

Application administration and participate in an on-call rotation with the team to ensure 24x7 support of critical services.

Collaborates with the other product teams and staff to assist with technical analysis and problem resolution on system issues.

Up to 10% travel

What will help you on the job

Experience in writing software/scripting in one or more languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, C++ or similar

You have a general understanding of a wide array of open source technologies and how they fit together.

Experience in commercial and government cloud environments


Salary range

$134,600.00 - $233,900.00 / annually
