Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor, you will lead and monitor the production line, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently to meet goals and objectives. You will analyze production runs, identify areas for improvement, and prepare daily reports while conferring with managers on line issues and solutions. Your responsibilities also include hiring, training, coaching and managing the performance of the Production team while enforcing safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and monitor production line tasks.
• Schedule/assign subordinate staff tasks to meet production goals and objectives.
• Prepare and submit data for production reporting.
• Prepare daily production reports.
• Perform continuous improvement reviews.
• Analyze production runs and make suggestions for improvement.
• Perform and report on accident investigations.
• Confer with maintenance and production managers daily on production line issues.
• Determine causes and suggest possible solutions.
• Hire, train, coach, and manage the Production team.
• Measure employee and team performance.
• Ensure accident/loss prevention and security policies are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3-4 years of manufacturing experience including supervisory experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Excel and Word and SAP.
