Housing is seeking (1) Assistant Director of Housing: Residential Community Development to join the already awesome team taking the department to the next level of excellence! The Assistant Director for Residential Community Development is a twelve-month, managerial position. The position's primary purposes are to oversee the operations of a residential area, direct the programmatic and service components of a functional area, and supervise the staff in those areas. University Housing has four assistant director positions, each of whom directly supervise 3-5 full-time professional staff and oversee a residential area of 1000-2000 residents with 75+student staff. Full-time professional staff include Coordinators, Residence Hall Directors and Assistant Hall Directors. This position is also responsible for directing, developing, implementing and evaluating policies, procedures, programs and services within the department. The Assistant Director for Residential Community Development reports directly to the Associate Director for Residence Life. Qualifications
:
Minimum Hiring Qualifications: Master's degree in College Student Personnel, Counseling, or Higher Education Administration or equivalent and four years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience. At least one year of experience must be in a supervisory capacity. College/Business Unit
