We are currently looking for employees like you to become one of our production leads to support the Night Shift Finish Department Supervisor and Manager with specific tasks while continuing to fulfill your daily responsibilities. As a Production Lead, you will continue to meet your production quotas, assist with employee training, clearly communicate daily and weekly goals to the team, answer any questions that may arise, and maintain a strong team environment. Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Finish Department Lead supports the department supervisor and manager with specific tasks while continuing to fulfill their daily responsibilities
Receives instructions and specifications of the job through the supervisor and communicates them to the employees in their department
Motivates and helps employees to accomplish the production standards
Coordinates with supervisor to align scheduled workloads with daily department production goals
Keeps open line of communication cross-shift and with departments up and downstream regarding deliveries and any quality issues
Trains new employees in the methods and responsibilities of the respective department
Assists in ensuring the company policies and procedures are being adhered to
Maintains the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding production functions
Provides feedback to the department supervisor or manager regarding employee performance

Participates in and promotes 5s and Process Improvement initiatives within the department



Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED certificate required. One to three years of experience working in the respective department and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must consistently meet or exceed the expectations of current role.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook) and computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications (i.e. RFID software Syspro).
