About the Role

To help us achieve this vision, we are introducing the role of North America Head of Inclusion & Strategic Innovation, reporting to the Global Head of Diversity Equity & Inclusion. This role presents a unique opportunity to champion strategic inclusion and innovation across the entire 360 creative development process and collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure that each phase of our development framework is inclusive and reflective of the many communities we serve.

The North America Head of Inclusion & Strategic Innovation holds the responsibility of overseeing the comprehensive content and inclusion strategy for Ogilvy across North America. This encompasses the integration of creative diversity and inclusive guidelines into campaign ideation, production, operations, and reporting of the company's progress ensuring transparency and accountability for our creative diversity objectives.

The role is integral in offering guidance and expertise on all facets of inclusion and diversity for our teams. This includes establishing strategic partnerships with like-minded recruitment organizations, embedding inclusion into our creative priorities and nurturing talent equitably across all communities.


As Head of Innovation & Strategic Inclusion, North America, You will:

  • Help manage the agenda for Ogilvy's strategic partnership discipline and analysis across the dimensions of inclusion, culture, consumer/community intelligence and event experiences both internally and for creative work throughout the globe.
  • Oversee an infrastructure and scalable framework/best practice for the streamlined review of creative work throughout North America.
  • Using Ogilvy's best practices, you will apply a growth mindset to leading a team of strategic inclusion leaders in HR, Marketing, Comms, and other integral teams in service of our team's and company's business objectives.
  • Develop and oversee immersive cultural learning initiatives aimed at enhancing the cultural fluency of our creative and strategy teams.
  • Managing the implementation of a diverse production supplier pipeline to ensure access to a wide range of creative vendors with varying backgrounds.
  • Collaborate with technology, publishing, and innovation platforms to curate a knowledge base of inclusive technologies that can drive innovation in creative excellence.
  • Manage an infrastructure and scalable framework/best practice for the streamlined cultural fluency reviews of creative work
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Ogilvy's Communications team to establish a streamlined approach for earning media coverage and creating storytelling opportunities that highlight Ogilvy's commitments, actions, and outcomes in fostering creative diversity.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in all facets of our client services, strategically collaborating with them to catalyze change and foster innovation throughout Ogilvy and the broader industry.
  • Serve and lead with empathy, teaching and coaching business leaders through internal and external challenges.
  • You will be responsible for bringing fresh ideas on how we foster an inclusive culture along with the leadership globally.


What You'll Need

  • 10+ year's experience working in creative agency structures, with a depth of knowledge in campaign development and production processes.
  • A deep understanding of DE&I within the creative landscape, and the importance of the role of DE&I in achieving creative success.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills, enabling the ability to drive impact across diverse teams.
  • Methodical and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships both internally and externally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop concise, compelling arguments and present them with energy and conviction to various stakeholders.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. $155,000 $390,000 USD
