The Engineer II will be part of a team for Subsea Robotics (SSR) global Installation Engineering team, part of SSR OPG Engineering. This Engineer II position is based in Houston, TX. The Engineer II is responsible for supporting technical aspects for projects related to Remotely Operated Vehicle installations on various vessels, rigs, semi submersibles etc. The SSR Installation team member will be a part of global team based in Houston, Norway, and India. The Engineer II will report to the Installation Engineering Manager. WORK LOCATION AND TRAVEL * Role provides the opportunity to work in hybrid environment, working both virtually and in office when required. Duties & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL * Conduct initial conceptual design work based on project design basis. o Calculations will include hand calculations and/or engineering calculation software. * Communicate and coordinate regularly with other team members in other Oceaneering locations worldwide. Qualifications
REQUIRED * Bachelor's degree in engineering (Structural, Mechanical, Civil or Ocean Engineering). o Classical analytical methods. * Must be able to obtain: o Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC). DESIRED * Experience in offshore installations and lifting. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS * Ability to plan, organize and direct the work of others. Ability to encourage and facilitate cooperation, teamwork and morale. Additional Information
