Primary Duties and Responsibilities: With dual reporting to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement and the Director, McAninch Art and Performing Arts, this role is responsible for setting and execution of the vision for a comprehensive fundraising effort in the Arts, inclusive of the MAC, CCMA, and New Philharmonic Orchestra. Supporting the funding objectives of College of DuPage and the Foundation, the person in this role will secure new donors and manage all current and future donor relations. The Institutional Advancement Manager expands and cultivates a database of prospective donors for annual, major, and planned gifts for the cultural arts at the College of DuPage. The Institutional Advancement Manager will create major and planned gift strategies and vehicles to grow funding results in these fundraising areas. This position will be responsible for providing strategies, leadership in the planning and implementation of private fundraising efforts to obtain annual gifts, corporate support, support of scholarships, and endowment growth for the cultural arts at the College of DuPage. Work expectations will include time spent in and out of the office working directly with prospects and donors for the purposes of cultivation and solicitation. Additionally, expectations include attending performances, events, and other activities associated with supporting the cultural arts at the College of DuPage. A significant amount of the Manager's time will be spent cultivating relationships with donors and developing relationships with prospective donors at shows, concerts/events on evenings and weekends outside the office.
