JOB SUMMARY The Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist is a key support position in Operations Accounting department reporting directly to the AP Supervisor. The AP Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions while ensuring invoices comply with internal controls and established policies. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED required, Associate's degree preferred YEARS OF EXPERIENCE 5+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education, typically required for this role. Oil & Gas experience highly preferred WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS Work is typically performed indoors in an office environment. Incumbents must be able to perform work which includes typing, sitting, and standing. In the event that incumbent visits operations worksite, personal protection equipment, including head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, and flame-resistant clothing is required. Safety rules including OSHA and DOT requirements are strictly enforced. Employees must be willing to travel and work extended hours on short notice.
