The position of Supply Chain Manager is the role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of materials, information, and services across the entire supply chain, from the point of origin to the end customer. They will be expected to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including suppliers, warehouse staff, and customers, to ensure that products and services are delivered on time and in full. Additionally, they will be tasked with managing inventory levels and developing strategies to optimize performance and increase efficiency.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises Production Planners, Schedulers, Buyers, and Coordinator is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of planning and scheduling functions. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop, execute, and monitor effective supply chain strategies to maximize customer value and achieve a sustainable competitive advantage.
* Monitor supply chain performance against established goals, objectives, and metrics.
* Oversee all supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
* Ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials to meet customer needs.
* Identify and implement process improvements to optimize supply chain performance.
* Analyze customer demand to determine inventory requirements and communicate to suppliers.
* Track and manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of products.
* Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best possible pricing and quality.
* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
* Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, cost, and delivery requirements compliance.
* Analyze current supply chain processes and make recommendations for improvement.
* Manage and coordinate transportation of goods to ensure timely delivery.
* Develop and implement strategies to reduce inventory costs.
* Monitor market trends and assess the impact on supply chain operations.

Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar job role

* Proven track record of successful supply chain management and optimization

* Ability to develop and manage a team of supply chain professionals

* Knowledge of inventory management systems and technologies

* Ability to negotiate supply chain contracts

* Excellent problem-solving skills

* Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

* Understanding of global supply chain trends and best practices

* Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations

* Ability to analyze and interpret data

* US Person is required

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
