Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is an internal and external support function as part of the finance team at Dragos. The position will be primarily responsible for supporting the accounting operations of the company with an emphasis on revenue cycle, commissions, and inventory. The scope of work includes a focus on the month end close process, preparation and recording of activity related to revenue recognition and cost of goods sold and commissions, preparation of account reconciliations, explanation of variances, and financial statement support. This role will provide management with accurate and timely financial information and provide data to assist with audit and compliance.

• Support the revenue recognition cycle, month end close process, and preparation of account reconciliations
• Assist with inventory tracking and recording
• Oversee invoicing and receivables
• Responsible for journal entry preparation
• Collect information for all audits
• Resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries
• Resolve accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
• Improve existing processes and procedures by analyzing current conditions and recommending changes

• Experience with operational accounting and month end close process
• Demonstrated history with revenue recognition, invoicing process, and inventory operations
• Previous exposure in a fast paced, multi-entity, multi-currency environment
• ERP accounting software (NetSuite required)
• Practical knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• MS Excel and Word proficiency
• Strong attention to detail, self-review to yield a low error-rate, organizational skills and analytical thinking are a must

• Base Salary: $115,000
