THE ROLE: Team Lead, Product Billing (REMOTE)

Job Summary:

As a Team Lead, Product Billing you will ensure Presidio's products and services are billed effectively and efficiently to ensure timeliness of customer invoicing while meeting all month end deadlines. The product billing team reviews vendor invoices, vendor PO's, customer PO's, and internal sales orders. The role involves leadership day to day of associate billing analysts within the product billing team.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Manage order and engagement status with Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Project Management
  • Ability to communicate effectively, multi-task, define root cause, and meet all monthly closing deadlines
  • A basic understanding of accounting, AP, collections, and procurement
  • Coordinate shipping activity with vendors
  • Review and enter vendor invoices for payment
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies with internal and external teams
  • Generate customer-facing invoices utilizing both RPA (robot) and manual processes
  • Comply with area SLAs (service level agreements)
  • Guide team with questions on daily transactions
  • Overtime may be required at month end closings
  • Assist with escalations as needed
  • Ad hoc projects requested by management as needed


Required Skills:



  • Time management and attention to detail
  • A basic understanding of accounting, AP, collections, and procurement
  • Expertise in Microsoft Suite Tools with a high concentration in Excel. High concentration includes v-lookups, macros, and pivot tables
  • Experience working within an ERP system


Additional Desired Skills:



  • Experience working in Dynamics GP (Great Plains), Alteryx, Get Paid
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and Sharepoint preferred


Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in billing, accounting, accounts payable, sales administration, or professional services
  • Previous team leadership experience highly preferred
