Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is responsible for providing financial support to the business unit, divisions and locations for day-to-day accounting procedures. This position also assists with rebate allocations, budgeting, reporting and special projects to provide information which aids in business decisions.

The employee's primary duty must be the performance of office or non-manual work directly related to the management or general business operations of Helena or Helena's customers. This also includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance.

This position is located onsite at our Western Business Unit (WBU) division office in Fresno, California.

Helena does not offer immigration sponsorship or relocation assistance for this position.

What your day may look like



  • Generates monthly and annual reports for locations, divisions and the business unit for sales, inventory, rebate allocation and profitability reports.
  • Coordinates, compiles and enters information annually for capital budget, location financial budgets and the sales team incentive program.
  • Calculates and processes monthly and annual payments for commissioned sales agents as contracted with Helena.
  • Performs general accounting work necessary to support business unit financial statements, accounting systems, location and managerial reporting.
  • Assists with preparing and entering supplier rebates for the business unit.
  • Performs key role in special projects as assigned.
  • Assists with creating and maintaining the business unit SharePoint site.
  • Other work-related duties as assigned by leader.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.



Education and experience needed for this position



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance or related field is required.
  • Two years of related work experience is preferred.



Other skills that will help you succeed



  • Working knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Excellent computer skills including through knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency with Excel pivot tables, functions and PowerPoint with creating presentations.
  • TM1, Discoverer, PowerBI, SharePoint and One Drive experience is preferred.
  • Ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and restraints.
  • Knowledge of products and program understanding.
  • Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and time management skills.



Your work environment and the physical aspects of the job

The work environment for this position is that of a typical office environment where the noise level is mostly quiet. This position requires you to use your hands for many different tasks and to talk, hear, walk, stand and sit. You may be occasionally required to lift or move up to 10 pounds.
