Packaging Production Specialist 3rd shift

The Role:

Responsible for coordinating the movements / recording consumption of packaging components as well as finished goods. This role is highly focused on maintaining proper material levels, and adhering to the production schedule in a high quality, fast paced, safe, and effective manner. Strictly adhere to all Company Safety Regulations, Department Standard Operating Procedures / Work Instructions and Good Manufacturing practices.

What you will do:



  • Inventory tracking and reconciliation in SAP - inclusive of physical inventory counts and execution of pick lists.
  • Process line paperwork and execute production run consumptions and prepare production documents such as PF's, stack patterns, waster reports etc.
  • Coordinate direct product transfers/movements and component returns as needed.
  • Collaborate across departments to support daily production schedule - inclusive of modifying/releasing PO's, waste/scrap reporting/monitoring, facilitating rework of finished goods.
  • Maintain accurate training records and assist with Safety, 5-S, GMP audits and other lean effortswithin the department.
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned.


What you will need:



  • High school education or equivalent. Associates preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP, proficient in use of computer.
  • Must have excellent communication / time management skills.
  • Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles preferred
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. on an infrequent, non-repetitive basis as required.
  • Ability to climb, bend and crouch.
  • Good Team Work skills, attention to detail, strict adherence to all trained procedures and embrace Safety and Quality awareness.



A reasonable pay range is $26/hr. - $31/hr.
