The Marketing Specialist manages design and production of planned marketing initiatives by performing the following duties personally or with administrative support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):
- With oversight from the Director of Marketing, execute marketing programs to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share.
- Provide branding direction and oversees execution of promotional activities including print, electronic media, trade show, direct mail, point-of-purchase displays, and signage.
- Creates and coordinates the production and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support sales and marketing programs.
- Work with the Director of Marketing to execute online marketing plans.
- Assist with growing customer database that can be used effectively in marketing initiatives
- Adapt to changes in the work environment; manage competing demands; change approach or method to best fit the situation.
- Develop project plans; coordinate projects; communicate changes and progress; complete projects on time and budget; manage project team activities.
- Provide analysis and regular status reports on marketing programs effectiveness and ROI.
- Helps establish and maintain consistent corporate image throughout product lines, promotional materials, and events.
- Generate creative solutions; translate concepts and information into images; use feedback to modify designs; apply design principles.
- Other duties as required and assigned.
- Maintain regular on-site attendance.
Work Environment:
- Ability to sit frequently and for long durations.
- Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
- Some travel is required.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal
documents. Education, Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Four-year college or university degree; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and contact management systems.
