$7500 SIGN ON BONUS FOR QUALIFIED HIRES

What You'll Do

Serve as a maintenance technician on the preventative maintenance and repairs of intermodal heavy equipment in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Responsibilities



  • Read electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Repair and maintain heavy equipment
  • Performs troubleshooting and repair of systems and components, as required
  • Maintains accurate records, as required
  • Perform detailed equipment inspections and preventative maintenance following OEM specifications.
  • Responds to any customer related equipment requests
  • Ensure compliance in all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies and procedures for a goal of zero incidents and injuries.
  • Assist in delivering required training to ensure that all co-workers have the necessary skills to perform their jobs properly and safely.
  • Special projects or work as assigned.

What You'll Need

Required



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience working on AC low voltage and DC high voltage circuits
  • 3+ years of PLC experience
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical assemblies & testing.
  • Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability/Willing to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work in the presence of loud machinery
  • Ability to understand and follow all company and Railroad safety policies
  • Ability to recognize all colors in a normal spectrum


Preferred



  • Possess your own basic tools
  • Basic understanding of VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) or the willingness to learn
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities
  • Willingness to work after hour call outs

  • This role is based out of Worcester, MA 01604
  • This role requires employees to be on-site during designated shift hours
