Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining the spare parts inventory for the Technical Maintenance team. Handles all parts deliveries or shipments of the Technical Maintenance Parts Warehouse. Maintains parts availability and inventory integrity such as quantities, locations, and is accountable for the system data matching actual stock levels. This opportunity is located in Comfort, TX.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

*Obtains the correct parts for both the Technical Maintenance Techs and the production staff in a timely manner.

*Accurately prices parts using the proper pricing source and transfers the information to the proper documents and computer system for purchase order approval.

*Stocks inventory in the correct location and with correct label, maintains the parts department in a clean, orderly manner.

*Identifies and requisitions parts as needed for completion of tasks.

*Monitors parts usage to ensure that Technical Maintenance requirements are filled in a timely manner.

*Communicates effectively with manufacturers and co-workers to assist in the timely ordering of parts.

*Inventories stock locations and reorders when inventory drops to specific level.

*Maintains parts specification documentation in the Technical Maintenance Computerized Maintenance Management (CMM) system.

*Verifies receipt of goods and manages vendor returns. Collaborates with the Accounting and purchasing departments to process returns merchandise authorizations (RMAs).

*Makes recommendations to supervisor regarding changes and improvements on basis of own findings in the course of assignments.

*Works with retail stores on equipment repairs and needs, including but not limited to, shipping and receiving of spares, inventory, etc.

*Updates Technical Maintenance CMM as needed to include parts orders updates, inventory min/max, staged work orders, and all other updates as needed.

*Repairs retail and miscellaneous manufacturing equipment as needed.

*Operates company vehicles to deliver rush parts to the Technical Maintenance staff at other work locations.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

*High School Diploma or equivalent.

*3 years' experience in parts coordination, inventory management or similar work.

*Technical understanding of various parts with ability to differentiate between parts.

*Must have valid State Driver's License and be able to meet James Avery's driving requirements.

*Ability to travel to various work locations as required.

*Ability to safely lift, load and deliver items up to 50lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.

*Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, weekends and evenings.

Must pass a background check as well as an alcohol, controlled substance, and illegal drug screen that meets Company standards before beginning

Preferred Qualifications

*Experience working in time-sensitive parts-business (auto-parts, service-parts for industrial users).
