Assistant Professor, Statistics and Data Science

The Opportunity

The Department of Statistics and Data Science at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, FL is seeking an assistant professor to teach undergraduate and graduate Statistics and Data Science courses and is expected to develop an externally funded, nationally competitive research program in big data analytics. The position will teach courses that include but are not limited to: Statistical Methods, Principals of Statistics, Statistical Theories I & II, and Data Mining Methodology I and II.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Ph.D. in Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution by the start of hire is required.
