Social Media Art Director

Kontoor Brands is currently seeking a Social Media Art Director for our Wrangler marketing team at our Greensboro, NC headquarters. This position will support the Brand Creative Director by building the narrative and art direction for the Social Media team's content creation. Working closely with the Social Media manager, the role will require a creative, commercial, and analytical eye, as well as an ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams across the business, including brand and DTC. The Social media art director will be hands-on in the design, editing, and implementation of social videos and stills, creating meaningful stories and executions that drive brand advocacy and sales.

The Social Media Art Director will be the creative gatekeeper of brand tone and aesthetic on all social channels, responsible for creating and curating social-first thumb-stopping content across multiple categories, including Western, Traditional, Modern, Womenswear, Outdoor and Workwear. You will be passionate about social-first content creation, keeping on top of trends and platform updates to ensure high quality paid and organic social content that feels native to the respective platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit, design and deliver exciting seasonal brand, collaborations and promotional content to engage with our existing audience and grows net new followers, impressions, sessions and CTR for paid social and organic social.
  • Maintains and evolves the social media look and feel across Instagram, TikTok, Meta, Snapchat, Reddit, YouTube and Pinterest for North America, to increase brand advocacy, drive engagement and driving traffic to the website.
  • Become a gatekeeper for the Social Media tone of voice and visual brand language across the team, ensuring it is aligned with the brand guidelines and creative vision.
  • Ensure social creative is in line with Wranglers wider creative strategy, ensuring a consistent visual story from social through to sales platforms both DTC and wholesale.
  • Benchmark against key competitors and inspiring campaigns.

Requirements:

  • 5 - 8 years + experience creating engaging social content for a fashion/beauty/retail brand or Ad agency.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Graphic Design, Design, Fine arts or similar degree).
  • Video editing skills - a social first approach to video editing. Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar editing.
  • Graphic design - An expert in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Lightroom, Indesign, etc.
  • Be an engaged contributor to a highly creative, fast-paced work culture with an ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Is comfortable with the fast-paced and constantly shifting social media and ecommerce environment and can react and respond to sudden and unexpected changes.
  • Communicative and collaborative team player: Comfortable with consistent collaboration across departments and implementing feedback.
