What to Expect?

This associate is responsible for neutralizing of process chemicals that become contaminated or unfit for resale. Other responsibilities include, returned processing containers that must be c leaned and neutralized for either recycling or disposing. Supervision of the wash-down process operation area, including personal assigned to those duties. Associate will be responsible for all neutralization pools and operations in the area. This includes pool maintenance, water control, disposes of chemicals into pools, monitors, adjust, and balancing. Responsible for documents of procedures record keeping according to Company, state, and local rules and regulations.

On a daily basis our Neutralization Process Technician:

  • Maintain water quality going in and out of the plant as part of the process (production rooms drain flushing).

  • Make sure water flow to all rooms is sufficient and water quality is within established guideline.

  • All pumps and pools to be maintained in a clean and operating state as required.

  • Monitor poll levels water quality and dispose of as needed and prudent with due diligence.

  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.

  • Perform any and all responsibilities as given by supervisor.

  • Give instructions, help, and supervise wash-down process operator in that area.

  • Understand the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) effectively in conjunction with the company guidelines.

What You Will Need:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Understand written and verbal instructions along with the ability to work independently and in a team.

  • Understanding of basic chemical processes in an industrial environment as well as understanding wastewater operations.

  • Maintain detailed documentations for company, state, and local regulations.
