Growth Performance Manager, DaVita SNF Dialysis

The Growth Performance Manager is responsible for working with operations leaders to ensure that ensure key site level growth success factors are in place and executed with rigor in each DaVita SNF Dialysis (DSD) location leading to accomplishing key grow metric performance targets within their assigned territory, including: admissions request volume, admissions cycle time, and average census per SNF. This role will also act as the subject matter expert on same store growth, marketing/awareness efforts, and admissions procedures to ensure successful launches of new locations and markets, diagnosing and resolve underperforming sites, and support sites undergoing turnover or change of ownership. Success elements include: stakeholder (SNF, DaVita, Nephrologist, Hospital) engagement, localized growth strategy development and execution, admissions process BPD implementation and execution, SNF communication and collaboration, education and training, and resource effectiveness.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Build relationships with SNF partners and DaVita teammates (leadership and SNF level staff) to ensure adoption and execution of site level growth BDPs, education, and resources to achieve census targets, including:

  • SNF partner consistent collaboration with DaVita operations and admissions on growth planning and execution
  • Effective program marketing and awareness by SNF partner including use of DSD collateral (training, collaboration, education materials) to achieve admit request volume goals
  • Ensure admissions process and resources are in place, educated, and effective to achieve admissions cycle time goals

2. Support development and execution working with DaVita and SNF leadership of site-specific growth strategies including marketing/awareness, key stakeholder engagement, and process and resource execution matched to the SNFs capabilities and market conditions leading to achieving site level growth targets.

3. Identify, diagnosis, and correct underperforming sites working with DaVita and SNF leadership to ensure sustainable intervention and performance improvement.

4. Establish growth BDPs, resources, and processes with operations leadership for new launches to ensure rapid initial growth, including:

  • Development of local market strategy and insights regarding opportunities to increase admit request volume
  • Direct engagement of key stakeholders to increase request volume (hospitals, neph partners, local dialysis centers, etc.)
  • SNF partner education and training on DaVita SNF Dialysis services and build relationships with local SNF team
  • Establish effective admissions processes
  • Growth collaboration and communication cadence

5. Identify and support change in status sites (DVA or SNF staff turnover, CHOW, etc.) to ensure key elements of growth remain in place or are re-established

6. Identify and execute on BDP development or continuous improvement opportunities working with DaVita operations, DaVita support teammates (DGS, clinical, finance, etc.), and SNF staff and leadership.

7. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Healthcare Operations
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility marketing or admissions preferred but not required
  • Performs job responsibilities in a manner consistent with the Code of Conduct. Demonstrates compliant behavior in dealing with physicians, patients, potential partners, business operations, and other teammates. Completes required compliance training in a timely manner. Is conscious of the need for RIGHT thinking, and shows it in written and oral communications. Demonstrates leadership with others to ensure complainant behaviors in the village.
  • Effective written, phone and live more advanced stage SNF, hospital, physician and other potential partners communications with clear messaging, proficiency in basic objection handling, and high professionalism; demonstrate similar communication proficiency with divisional and group operations leadership.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of diabetes and/or End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) disease preferred.
  • Ability to break down problems to identify root causes and create and implement effective action plans against those causes resulting in improvement in key performance metrics.

Travel and Time Requirements

  • Frequent regional travel required.
  • 25 - 40% overnight travel for meetings, training and local site visits
  • Nights/Weekends: Occasional evening work and overnight travel required.

Salary/ Wage Range

$75,200.00-$110,400.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
