This position will work 6:00 pm to 4:30 am Monday - Thursday. Starting pay rate is $23.00 per hour. You must possess a Class E Driver's license.

JOB SUMMARY: The Power Loader/Driver is responsible for the accurate storing, delivery and receiving of product to meet Wagner Logistics' standards of safety, security and productivity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Shipping/Receiving
Load and unload kegs in an efficient and safe manner.
Storing
Move product to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate area.
Order Picking
Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped.
Equipment
Operate the material handling equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently as required. Perform pre-operating and post-operating safety checks per requirements. Report any defects to Supervisor so repairs can be performed.
Checking
Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation. Follow Facility Safety protocol for reporting damage or infestation.
Delivery
Drive Van or Box Truck to and from the Bunkers and the Plant receiving areas. Follow all safety and traffic regulations.
Safety, Sanitation, Security
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Be vigilant and report any suspicious visitors or activity on the premises. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety.
Miscellaneous
Participate in physical inventories. Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and repacking as needed. Repair pallets when necessary. Clean vehicles as requested.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   1. Citizenship - Must be a United States Citizen.
  2. Criminal Background and Pre-Employment Drug Test - Clean criminal history and pass pre-employment drug test is mandatory. Must be or get COVID-19 vaccinated due to Government contract and Executive Order.
  3. Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  4. Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in warehouse or distribution center setting; knowledge of warehousing and logistics terms and processes is a plus.
  5. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

    • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
    • Proficient in basic math applications.
    • Proficient at Microsoft Office software and good keyboard and PC skills preferred.
    • Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to multi-task, problem solve, prioritize and manage time effectively.
    • Must have good people skills and work effectively in a team environment.
    • Must have a valid Driver's License with Class E endorsement.





PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:


  • Ability to stand, sit, squat, crawl, bend, twist, reach and/or kneel for up to 12-hour periods of time and repetitively.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures: heat, cold, wet, damp, drafty.
  • Work on concrete and unlevel surfaces.
  • May be required to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Work around hazardous materials and may be exposed to carcinogens, toxic, and explosive materials.
  • Possible exposure to areas with high noise levels that may require hearing protection.
  • Use hands and fingers to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights.
  • Utilize muscles to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects up to 50 to 100 pounds.
