This is to be done within the stated policies of Marquette University, the Big East Conference and the NCAA.
Primary event area coach for jumping and combined events. Assist the head coach with activities including practice, meets, recruitment, clinics, and events.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Plan and implement practices for the jumps and combined events.
2. Coordinate recruiting for the jumping, sprinting and combined events under the direction of the head coach.
3. Coordinate the planning and implementation of camps and clinics.
4. Coordinate team travel with university travel agent. Other duties as assigned by the head coach.
5. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Requires a Bachelor's Degree.
At least 2 years of related experience.
Must possess values compatible with and supportive of Marquette's mission as a culturally diverse, Catholic, Jesuit University.
Demonstrated successful experience coaching or competitive experience with the jumping or combined events.
Ability to instruct and coach student-athletes within an academic setting preferred.
