We are searching for a Phlebotomist to assure proper identification of patient and prepare patient for Phlebotomy procedures. Perform veni-puncture, capillary punctures, and/or other special Laboratory procedures on assigned patients. Complete patient requisitions. Centrifuge samples and prepare aliquots of specimens. Log and prepare various specimens to be sent to other outside Laboratories, Physicians, other hospitals, etc. Collect and prepare various human samples for analysis.

**$5,000 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. Rehires termed greater than 1 year also eligible.**

• Hours: 40 hours
• Shift: Day Shift 8:00am-4:30pm
• Location: OBGYN - New Bedford, MA
• Travel: Driving on average 3 or more times per week required

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training is required.
• Certification from an approved Phlebotomy Certification Program is required.
