Description

Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Warehouse/Inventory Specialist with expertise in radio programming. In this role, you will play a critical part in our operations by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, inventory management, and proficient programming of radio equipment.

Responsibilities:




  • Collaborate with operations and Upfitting Manager to fulfill customer orders, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Transfer equipment to and from other Day Wireless shops as required to meet demand and optimize inventory distribution.
  • Maintain and clean inventory to ensure organization and accessibility of products.
  • Select products accurately and release orders for shipment, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Process, pull, and stage orders for builds with attention to detail and care to prevent damage.
  • Handle receiving and inventory control duties, including tracking and inputting information into the system.
  • Update the customer order database with accurate and current information.
  • Assist in programming customer radios to meet specific requirements and preferences.
  • Restock shelves as necessary to maintain adequate inventory levels and facilitate efficient order fulfillment.
  • Receive material from vendors and process inbound shipments, verifying inventory to ensure accuracy and completeness.


Qualifications

  • Must have a valid drivers license and ability to pass a drug and background check.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and inventory.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software or systems is a plus.

  • PC skills - able to use excel and word documents
  • Organizational skills
  • Netsuite experience (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Inventory management experience
  • Setting up an inventory management system (preferred but not required)
