The Provider Network Coordinator is responsible and accountable for provider network growth and persistency results. This position champions all network development recruitment projects as assigned by the National Director (ND) and Regional Manager (RM) in various territories. The position is responsible for working within team performance metrics.

This position is remote and does not require regular in-office presence.

What you do



  • Responsible for overall market level expansion based upon competitive analysis and business needs. The ability to utilize methods such as researching competitor data, developing recruitment call strategies, ensuring consistency through contact management leads and obtaining policyholder names approvals for recruitment efforts.
  • The Provider Network Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting new providers primarily through targeted, effective telephone campaigns. Face to face recruitment, as necessary.
  • The position may be required to prospect calls for the Provider Network Representatives (PNR) in an assigned Recruitment territory. They would provide the pertinent information on qualified leads to the PNR for developing and scheduling effective recruitment trips.


  • This position maintains provider networks to overall persistency levels set by the company by attempting to retain potentially- terminating providers in assigned areas. Retains and adds new contracts to the provider network to achieve overall persistency and new contract goals.


  • This position maintains Salesforce.com for each assigned recruitment project within specified deadlines.
  • Maintain contract knowledge of all Network Sharing and Leasing arrangements to ensure the information provided to our customers is in accordance with guidelines and state requirements.
  • The incumbent is continually challenged to develop provider networks in a competitive dental market. Additionally, network development needs change and increase on a continuous level, requiring the incumbent to be adaptive and responsive to quick shifts in business plans.
  • The position partners with Provider Relations in the provider contracting process; in researching provider inquiries; in the resolution of customer or provider concerns; in identifying and creating Best Practices; and providing an overall seamless level of customer service to the provider network.
  • Take on projects as assigned by the Network Management Team.
  • Proficient with the Rewards Programs offered to network providers who join and remain on our dental network.



What you bring



  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2-4 years of related experience required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities through effective time management, organizational and decision making skills.
  • Proven results in individual performance as demonstrated by consistently meeting or exceeding metrics.
  • Strong technical and computer skills are a must with advanced proficiencies in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet applications, and competitor analysis tools such as the online Network 360 software.
  • Ability to successfully apply Professional Selling Skills (PSS) principles in provider recruitment and retention.
  • The ability to motivate, lead and coach others, interacting with associates on all levels.
  • A strong commitment to excellent customer service, meeting deadlines, conflict management and independent problem solving/decision making.
