Job Summary
  • Operate various equipment at our aggregate location efficiently and safely.
Main Responsibilities
  • Promote safe work practices and an excellent safety environment
  • Responsible for safe and efficient operation of all equipment
  • Complete daily inspections and maintenance checklist
  • Participate in pre-shift safety huddles
  • Responsible to follow all onsite MSHA and environmental requirements
  • Perform routine maintenance and various equipment repairs as needed
  • Responsible for reporting incidents and accidents to supervisors
  • Responsible to report to Plant Superintendent or Supervisors of any potential safety hazards
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Skills
  • Ability to operate equipment efficiently
  • Ability to connect with supervisors and peers
  • Self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
  • Ability to perform tasks as given from supervisors as well as work as part of a team
Physical Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Able to work in various outdoor weather conditions
  • Able to stand, walk, sit, enter and exit large equipment
  • Able to use arms, hands, and fingers
  • Able to lift and handle objects
