Remuneration: Exempt

RWE Clean Energy is seeking a Geospatial Coordinator who will support the development of a comprehensive renewable energy spatial platform, including cross-team data integrations, data analytics, and support of the overall geospatial strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Build data workflows, ETL pipelines, and create integrations amongst various internal systems
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand GIS needs and build solutions, including web applications and other spatial deliverables
  • Support system and content sharing by integrating GIS and related data using APIs, REST, and other connection services
  • Organize and maintain geospatial datasets, surveys, land fabric data, and other relevant sources
  • Develop solutions to assess project suitability for renewable energy development utilizing Python, FME, and other tools & methods

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Geography, Geodetic Engineering/Science, GIS, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a GIS Analyst or equivalent experience within the energy industry
  • Familiarity with energy technologies, such as solar, wind, battery storage, oil/gas
  • Knowledge of spatial modeling techniques and proficiency in scripting languages (Python, R) or FME
  • Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Products including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Enterprise, relational databases
  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Experience working with or managing an Enterprise system is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage customer relationships
  • Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
  • Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
  • Ability to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team
  • Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
  • Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York is $79,400 - $119,000. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
