College of Community Innovation and Education - Center for Community Schools:

The UCF Center for Community Schools in the College of Community Innovation and Education at the University of Central Florida is a practice-based organization that provides community school technical assistance, university-assisted partnerships, training and development, and assessment and evaluation.

The Opportunity:

The UCF College of Community Innovation and Education Center for Community Schools is now accepting applications for a Program Manager I. This role is for the UPI Training Academy and works with the program director and other UPI staff to provide training resources, content, and platforms to effectively deliver community school technical assistance to universities and partners.

This is a Contract and Grant (C&G) funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide support to statewide community schools by sharing strategies for connecting university resources to school areas of need.

  • Collaborate with the program director and lead university assistance efforts and technical assistance.

  • Provide professional and relational leadership among UPI project staff and community schools.

  • Assist the expansion of technical assistance and support practices.

  • Develop and disseminate materials and documents to streamline project updates and communication.

  • Prepare training and technical assistance materials for successful learning and comprehension of effective community school development.

  • Lead training and development opportunities for statewide university assisted community school efforts.

  • Facilitate presentations and learning events to share best practices for UPI planning and implementation.

  • Lead the development of an online platform to facilitate learning of best practices in community school development.

  • Provide individualized professional development support as needed. -Other duties and projects as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master's degree.

  • Familiarity with university systems and resources.

  • Experience in curriculum development.

  • Ability to be flexible in times of change.

  • Ability to adapt in a high-demand and changing environment.
