College of Community Innovation and Education - UCF Center for Community Schools:

The UCF Center for Community Schools in the College of Community Innovation and Education (CCIE) at the University of Central Florida is a practice-based organization that provides community school technical assistance, university-assisted partnerships, training and development, and assessment and evaluation.

The Opportunity:

The Administrative Coordinator will support the Research Associate for business in meeting the operations and administration needs of UCF Center for Community Schools (UCF Center) grants and projects.

This is a Contract and Grant (C&G) funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted.

Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the UCF Center's primary contact for HR needs; Liaise with the CCIE HR Business Center to support the HR needs of the UCF Center; Coordinate and facilitate grant hiring needs and provide onboarding support and resources to project employees.

  • Serve as the UCF Center's primary contact for finance needs; Liaise with the CCIE Finance Business Center and RAST to support the finance needs of the UCF Center; Coordinate, analyze, and facilitate budget tracking, expense card purchases, travel arrangements, invoices and payments for staff and partners.

  • Manage UCF Center inventory and tracking of equipment, supplies, and furniture; Manage work orders and technical support needs of UPI and CPS project staff.

  • Oversee administrative tasks including scheduling and calendaring, troubleshooting, file organization, meeting notes and distribution, and logistical support for UCF Center business and operations.

  • Support the Research Associate for business in the management and tracking of the UPI and CPS budgets and financial accounts; Receive, log, and process subcontract invoices for payment.

  • Serve as an initial point of contact for internal and external stakeholders in connecting with the Research Associate and respective projects.

  • Prepare and circulate materials, manuals, and documents to support the organization and operations of the UCF Center.

  • Additional duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 3-5 years of administrative experience.

  • Experience in tracking and maintaining organizational budgets.

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively both verbally and in writing.
