The opportunity

Online Adjunct Faculty - Reverse Logistics

Southern New Hampshire University is looking for faculty to teach a Reverse Logistics course in our Project Management program. Our online faculty provide high-quality academic experiences and support students as they work toward their educational goals. Online faculty members work collaboratively in a supportive academic environment, partnering with student advising and the academic team to ensure that each student has the support they need to be successful.

We are looking for faculty for the following course:

• QSO-425 Reverse Logistics

You'll Get To:

• Foster a positive, emotional climate for your students
• Connect with learners, academic advisors and team leaders on a frequent basis to ensure the success of your learners
• Use your business experience and content expertise to support scenario-based learning in the classroom
• Provide mentorship to your learners so that they are prepared to develop business solutions, and employ innovation to solve business problems
• Create opportunities for dialogue within the learning experience
• Provide prompt and detailed feedback to your learners, assignment clarification, and provide guidance on assignments, concepts, and course resources

What we're Looking For:

• Master's degree in Logistics, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Management Science, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited higher education institution
• 2 years or more of teaching experience at the college level within the online space with experience using a LMS (Learning Management System)
• 2 years or more of professional experience in reverse logistics or logistics management that is current or within the last couple years

Work Hours:

This posting is hiring for future term starts, dates to be assigned later.

Compensation:

The standard compensation for most undergraduate courses is $2,200 per 8-week course, and $2,500 for most 10-week graduate courses. Adjuncts are paid bi-weekly and are considered W-2 employees of Southern NH University.

This is a remote role.
