DESCRIPTION

Under supervision, provides front desk support by performing a variety of clerical and receptionist duties in support of daily patient services within clinical areas. Responsibilities include greeting patients, checking in and checking out procedures, appointment scheduling, insurance, and authorization verification, updating patient demographics, Interacts with faculty, clinic staff, administrators, and outside agencies (i.e., insurance companies, community medical groups). Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Three (3) years previous related experience.

  • Proven computer skills/ability to work between multiple systems during calls.

  • Ability to work in an interactive environment.

  • Possess excellent customer service skills.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bilingual-English and Spanish Preferred.
  • EPIC Appointment Scheduling.
  • Procedure Scheduling.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • Experience working in Cardiovascular Clinics.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $54,664 - $67,944 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $26.18 - $32.54

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
