The Assistant Director provides a high level of personalized service to prospective students who wish to enroll at Creighton University through graduate or adult programs within the College of Nursing. This position is responsible for building the relationships necessary to recruit, admit and enroll new students, assisting the future student up to the point they are ready for enrollment in courses. The effective tracking and reporting of student communication is also the responsibility of this position. Additionally, this position is responsible for representing Creighton University at external events, such as employer education fairs, college recruitment events, and other events as requested. The Assistant Director will regularly communicate with other members of the recruitment staff, faculty, program directors, and other members of the university community on various topics related to recruitment, admission, and financial aid in order to maximize enrollment opportunities. Working closely with students, this person will regularly review transcripts, complete unofficial prerequisites evaluations, assist in identifying courses for prerequisite completion, and communicate course expectations to prospective students. This position will also be responsible for reviewing admission files and issuing admission decisions, following the guidelines set forth by the schools and colleges. Key Responsibilities
