Responsibilities:

As the last line of support regarding SAP ABAP development, this position will:

Help solve problems that the outsourced ABAP team could not solve.

Be responsible to guarantee that the SAP ABAP's standard process for S/4Hana are being used and will focus on performance tuning techniques.

Be the ABAP Leader for all SAP IS-U systems.

Develop and maintain SAP RICEFW objects like Reports, Dialog programming, OOPS objects, Data Dictionary, ALE/IDOCs, Web services, remote calls.

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in technical field such as IT, Engineering (IT, Industrial, etc.) or business degree with applicable technical experience.

5+ years of experience in SAP IS-U

Having participated in at least 2 full life-cycle implementations of SAP IS-U with knowledge working with SAP IS-U performance problems.

Solid understanding of procedural and object-oriented programming techniques

Experience in developing CDS Views, User exits, Smart Forms, BADIs, BTEs, Enhancement Points, and using the Switch Framework

Extensive experience in debugging, performance tuning, Runtime Analysis and System monitoring

SAP Performance tuning

Hands on experience of business design, functional and technical specifications.

Strong written and oral communication skills and an open communication style

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Hands on experience on all the testing aspects (Integration testing / Functional testing/ User Acceptance Test support).

Proven troubleshooting skills

SAP IS-U Performance Tuning

SAP ABAP Certification is a plus.

Proficient bilingual technical writing/speaking in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in technical related field such as IT or Engineering (IT, Industrial, etc.) or other degree with applicable experience.
  • Relevant SAP Certification is a plus.
  • Accomplished user of Microsoft business tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Office 365
