Recovery Resources (a nonprofit comprehensive mental health/behavioral health clinic) is seeking an RN for the Medical Department. In this position you will be part of a medical team working to make a positive impact for the underserved in our community as they struggle with mental health and/or addictions.

Essential functions of this position include completing initial health assessment and identifying medical and psychiatric needs; developing with client a mutually acceptable plan of action and evaluating progress; referring clients to other agencies under the direction of a Provider; reporting medical needs to Case Manager and/or Provider; completing phlebotomy and injections; and, educating clients about medications and healthy lifestyle issues.

Qualifications

Requirements include:



  • RN license (Ohio)
  • Minimum two years applicable psychiatric experience and one year of medical nursing


  • Knowledge regarding medical and pharmacological resources in the treatment of mental health problems and substance abuse disorders.
  • Understand diverse cultures and incorporate into treatment approaches the relevant needs of culturally diverse groups and people with disabilities.
