The Trauma Registrar, under the direction of the Director of Trauma Services, is responsible for abstraction of trauma data from patient medical records, maintenance of the trauma data base, and participation in the trauma performance improvement and injury prevention programs.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in the use of medical terminology and navigation of medical records
• High school diploma

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Trauma Registrar Course
• AIS (Injury Scaling) Course
• 3 years acute care experience
