Overview Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington. With a track record of global leadership in bone marrow transplantation, HIV/AIDS prevention, immunotherapy and COVID-19 vaccines, Fred Hutch has earned a reputation as one of the world's leading cancer, infectious disease and biomedical research centers. Fred Hutch operates eight clinical care sites that provide medical oncology, infusion, radiation, proton therapy and related services, and network affiliations with hospitals in five states. Since the April 2022 merger that led to the formation of Fred Hutch Cancer Center, Fred Hutch has served as the cancer program for UW Medicine, and Philanthropy is proud to raise funds that fuel the adult oncology program on behalf of both Fred Hutch and UW Medicine. Following board approval of an ambitious, 10-year comprehensive campaign, our team of more than 100 will grow to more than 150 over the next three years. Philanthropy staff implement high-performing, relationship-based fundraising programs that engage and inspire thousands of supporters who are passionate about preventing and eliminating cancer and infectious disease. Our FY24 goals include nearly doubling our annual fundraising, deepening our patient family fundraising, and advancing the first phase our comprehensive campaign through Fred Hutch's 50th anniversary in 2025. Our success is made possible through a deep commitment to an inclusive environment and operational excellence. The Community Fundraising Manager is a member of the Peer-to-Peer Programs team within Philanthropy's Experience & Engagement program and reports to the Director, Peer-to-Peer Programs. The Community Fundraising Manager is responsible for growing and retaining a fundraising portfolio of passionate individuals and teams who host peer-to-peer programs in various communities and want to channel their passion and raise funds to end cancer and infectious disease. This position is a hybrid role with a minimum two days per week at our South Lake Union campus. Responsibilities PRIMARY/ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Collaborate with Philanthropy leaders and partner teams to develop innovative strategies and clear goals for peer-to-peer events and campaigns and implement programs/projects that deliver on those goals.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $69,472 to $104,187, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
