SERVICE ACTIVITIES:
- Overall individuals in this position provide a minimum of 400 clinical service hours.
- Provide individual counseling services to UNH students at an average rate of 15 clients/week. Students seen have diagnoses ranging from depression and anxiety to relationship concerns.
- Perform intake assessments for a minimum of 3 hours per week. Responsibilities include complete assessment, diagnosis and treatment disposition of students requesting Counseling Center services.
- Provide crisis intervention/emergency coverage within the Counseling Center. Duties include responsibility to assess, diagnose, provide treatment disposition and crisis management services to students requesting Counseling Center emergency service. Emergency coverage entails a time of a minimum of four house per week.
- Facilitate therapy and support groups to include Assertivenes, Anxiety and International Student groups, serving a minimum of 50 students each year.
- Engage in outreach and consultation efforts which includes presenting 6 workshops per semester on such topics as crisis management, PTSD, Suicide Assessment, serving approximately 500 students; undertake a year-long consultation projects such as: "Psychiatric Disabilities Education", "Mental Health Resources" for the UNH community.
- Assess learning disabilities through clinical interviews and testing.

TRAINING ACTIVITIES:
- Meet with senior staff for individual and group supervision for a minimum total of 4 hours per week. Attend staff case conference weekly.
- Attend professional seminars with local professionals on resources available and areas of specialization.
- Attend Intern Seminars, to focus on issues specific to the university population and the UNH Counseling Center.
- Attend assessment seminars and supervision focusing on learning disabilities and consultation seminars and supervision focusing on outreach and consultation efforts.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVIES:
- Attend department staff meetings on a weekly basis.
- Performance administrative responsibilities to include maintaining appropriate clinical, outreach and consultation records, committee membership, and special projects as assigned.
