Leidos is seeking a Software/Controls Engineer CO-OP to be based in Walled Lake, Michigan. Candidates will work directly with the technical teams working mainly to develop building management software for large scale industrial clients. The position includes programing with Microsoft .NET, databases, operating systems, web programming, networks, and Microsoft Office. Employees will gain experience with general programming, design, and testing methodologies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leidos' Software/Controls Engineer CO-OPs work on team projects under an engineer's supervision. CO-OPs will be involved with the design, programming, testing, and implementation of projects.

Leidos' software engineer CO-OPs work on team projects under an engineer's supervision. CO-OPs will be involved with the design, programming, testing, and implementation of projects. Programming will be a requirement of the position (.Net, VB. ASP, Java, basic, C++, etc.).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
*Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree Computer Engineering, or related field. Minimum GPA 3.0.
*Candidates should be computer literate with a basic understanding of software development.
*The candidate should also possess the ability to break down large tasks into smaller pieces and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
*Some travel is required.
*U.S. Citizenship is required.
