The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Program Manager to execute the Ammunition Supply Point/ Theater Storage Area located at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait. This is an exciting opportunity to use your knowledge and experience in ammunition and logistics to support the requirements of the 1st Theater Sustainment Command, managing the ammunition storage requirements for the US Central Command.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall operations of the international ASP/TSA program. Provide leadership and oversight to ensure the safety and well-being of all Leidos, KRH, and Other Country National program employees. Primary line management interface with the Technical Customer, Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Government Quality Assurance Specialist Ammunition Surveillance (QASAS) inspectors, and In-Country Customers and Partners. Establish and manage the work schedule, policies, and priorities for the entire operation to ensure uninterrupted support to the government customer in compliance with the Statement of Work (SOW), FAR, and applicable Department of the Army regulations. Ensure required inspections and training requirements are performed, documented, and submitted on time. Establish and maintain quality policy and objectives and conduct periodic management reviews. Maintain a comprehensive physical security program for both the TSA and ASP. Provide Senior Government and Leidos Management with verbal and written communications and reporting as requested. Responsible for meeting and exceeding the Leidos Annual Operating Projection, pursing opportunities to grow the contract, and control costs within or to exceed the Expected Business Case. Achieved very high levels of customer satisfaction and maintain 100% award fee, which has been achieved for 16 successive periods. Responsible for interfacing with corporate functional personnel in Finance, Contracts, Subcontracts', HR, Security, Program Execution, and other areas as needed to meet all reporting requirements, to ensure on time invoicing and payments, to conduct Program Reviews, and to ensure all contractual requirements are met or exceeded within cost.

Basic Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree with (10) ten years of experience in ammunition operations.
  • Within the last ten (10) years of experience, six (6) of those years the candidate must have supervised a minimum of twenty-five (25) personnel in logistics operations.
  • Must have a working knowledge of automated data processing systems and within four (4) months of hiring, be thoroughly proficient in Standard Army Ammunition System (SAAS) data interpretation and functionality
  • Must be able to travel to the CENTCOM AOR and perform work within countries in the CENTCOM AOR, primarily Kuwait
  • Must have and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
  • Valid US passport

Preferred Qualifications.

  • Sr. Non-Commissioned Officer or Warrant Officer in Ammunition Logistics (eg. 890A, Ammunition Warrant Officer or 89 Series - Ammunition & EOD MOS) with 15 years of ammunition logistics experience
  • Ability to supervise up to 250 personnel
  • Ability to Sub-contract for and supervise Other Country Nationals
  • Ability to work with and maintain a relationship with a Kuwaiti sponsor company

Pay Range:Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
