PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Principle responsibilities include:

The IT Governance and Incident Management Manager is responsible to overseeing IT incident. Business Continuity, IT Disaster Recovery and IT Risk mitigation life cycle management. This position shall create, update, oversee and implement policies and procedures to maintain an effective IT governance framework. Also, conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify compliance gaps and vulnerabilities around IT incident management, business continuity, IT Disaster Recovery and Security.

The IT Goverance and Incident Management Manager work to manage the lifecycle of all unplanned interruptions, malfunctions, and quality reductions of provided IT services. Their main goals are to follow incident management protocols and work with the IT product and process owners to restore provided IT services to normal operation as quickly as possible.

Principal responsibilities include:


  • Create and manager IT Governance Management Framework and life cycle management related to IT Incidents, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and
  • Overseeing the incident management process and team members involved in resolving the incident.
  • Responding to a reported service incident, identifying the cause, and initiating the incident management process.
  • Support all business plan activities necessary to enable the Organization to manage a crisis event and meet compliance requirements for BCP planning.
  • Develop, maintain, and test the Alameda Alliance for Health's business continuity program and its end-to-end life cycle.
  • Provides mandatory training and assistance to key stakeholders, subject matter experts, leaders, process owner and other external entities on their roles and responsibilities during disasters like fire, flood, security etc.
  • Work with key stakeholders and process owner to keep the business continuity plan and disaster recovery run book relevant and up to date.
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure business continuity plans are integrated into all facets of the organization.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards related to business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • Collaborating with IT departments to ensure proper data backup, system recovery, and cybersecurity measures are in place.
  • Managing the response to actual disruptions, including activation of the business continuity plan and coordination of recovery efforts.
  • Conducting post-incident reviews to analyze the response's effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to plans and strategies.
  • Work with cross functional IT teams and develop dashboards and report centric methodology to manage ongoing operations support, foresee risk and report them as needed.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external partners, such as emergency services, vendors, and other stakeholders critical to business continuity efforts
  • Create, update, oversee and implement policies and procedures to maintain an effective IT governance framework.
  • Audit to ensure all the systems meet our policies and procedures requirements.
  • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Communications: Preparing written and verbal reports and documentation effectively and efficiently internally and externally.
  • Project management: Preparing project plans, task lists, timelines, and resource assignments. Tracking projects to ensure completion on time.
  • Teambuilding: Working with internal and external customers to build integrated multi-disciplined teams.
  • Writing, reporting, administration, and analyses.
  • Making verbal presentations.
  • Leading and participating in internal and external committees and meetings.
  • Complying with the organization's Code of Conduct, all regulatory and contractual requirements, organizational policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Creating weekly status reports and escalating issues to superior officer as required.
  • Attend Change Management meetings regularly to communicate and update on various defect fixes/statuses that are impacting IT Governance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Constant sitting and working at a desk.
  • Constant data entry using keyboard and/or mouse.
  • Frequent use of telephone headset.
  • Constant verbal and written communication with staff and other business associates by telephone, correspondence, or in person.
  • Frequent lifting of folders and other objects weighing between 0 and 30 lbs.
  • Frequent walking and standing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION OR TRAINING EQUIVALENT TO:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.

MINIMUM YEARS OF ADDITIONAL RELATED EXPERIENCE:


  • Minimum four years of experience working in healthcare environment required.
  • Familiarity with managed health care systems required.
  • Project management experience is a plus.

  • Proficient command of Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio, Outlook, and Word.
  • Continue to attend training courses related to area of expertise.

SALARY RANGE $160,989.86-$241,484.79 ANNUALLY
