Lubbock Assistant Foreperson 37525BR Ops Div CHACP 1 Position Description Supervises the work of journeyperson in an assigned trade under the direction of a Foreperson. This position has operational and personnel oversight responsibilities over the assigned trade and assists the Foreperson in coordinating work activities of personnel and implementing expectations to carry out departmental objectives according to established policies and procedures. Required Qualifications Proficiency in written and mathematical skills as may be reflected in the completion of high school or equivalent. One year experience as a licensed journeyperson in the assigned trade; or four years experience in designated trade. Job-related vocational training and other education may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis. Thorough knowledge of the standard tools, equipment, materials, methods and practices of the assigned trade. Preferred Qualifications
