Job Summary:

As part of Joybird's Marketing team, you will be responsible for all marketing performance data. You will deliver actionable insights on customer experience, sales and marketing analytics to help meet return on investment goals. By providing recommendations on budget, campaign execution, and revenue growth, you are uniquely positioned to operate in Joybird's fast-paced environment to make a significant and tangible impact. Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

  • Support Performance Media Director in managing the marketing budget and efficiently allocate the budget for each channel to maximize ROI.
  • Responsible for the daily financial forecasting for revenue and marketing spend to provide accurate estimates.
  • Work cross functionally with finance in building financial models and budget scenarios to feed into the Joybird financial model.
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance, identify trends, and facilitate opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to help operators stay nimble and make strategy recommendations to inform major spending and operational decisions.
  • Manage third party partners to help model the performance of Joybird's marketing mix in order maximize performance of budget.
  • Work with analytics and cross-functional teams to champion a hypothesis-driven culture that rapidly tests, measures and iterates.
  • Contribute to the analytics toolkit through iterating on analysis methodology and acting cross functionally to generalize frameworks.
  • Create output that tells the story behind the data to non-technical team members so they can execute more effectively.
  • Develop strategy for priority initiatives and lead implementation to drive step change improvements in performance.
  • Lead special projects that allow you to cultivate and strengthen relationships with external partners and vendors.
  • Contribute to the underlying data infrastructure, building explores and data structures, in Looker by developing in look ML and SQL.
SCOPE & IMPACT:
  • Manage and optimize a marketing budget worth $35-45M annually.
  • Lead marketing budget decision-making to drive $150M-250M in annual gross written revenue.
  • Deliver high expectations of 5+ ROI on total marketing budget.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or related field with 6-8 years of analytical experience or equivalent
  • Expert with Excel, SQL knowledge a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving problems
  • Experience with visualization (e.g. Looker, Tableau)
  • Working knowledge of statistics a plus
  • Positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude
  • Highly motivated self-starter.
  • Flexible, adaptable, able to work in an entrepreneurial environment
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
  • Masters of Business Administration
  • Experience at an e-commerce brand with a high volume of complex data

CA pay range: $91,000- $114,,000
