Osaic has returned to a hybrid work schedule, so we are seeking candidates prepared to work a split schedule between home and the office.

Role Type: Full time.

Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year + annual bonus

Actual compensation offered will be determined individually, based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

Summary:

The Director of Transition Experience will lead a team responsible for managing all aspects of onboarding new Financial Professionals and enterprises to Osaic as well as overseeing the execution of succession plans. This person will work closely with the Business Development team and other key areas to build strong relationships with new Financial Professionals, present the value proposition of our transition process, and communicate regularly regarding the status of current transitions.

This person will be accountable for the asset transition, and economics associated with the transition, onboarding experience, and optimizing resource allocation to maximize results.

They need to have a deep understanding of the transition process and provide the appropriate guidance and training along the way to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for the Financial Professionals. The primary objective is to expedite the transfer of the Financial Professional's book of business and drive any mix shift opportunities.

In addition to having a deep understanding of onboarding new Financial Professionals, it's critical to be a subject matter expert on asset movement, demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge, be detailed oriented, and have exceptional communication skills. We are looking for self-starters who are quick learners, resourceful, and results oriented in a faced-paced and collaborative environment. The person must have the ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead team of employees to support transitions in the direct channel.
  • Responsible for the daily oversight of team personnel and problem resolution of all aspects of the transition
  • Optimize resources to maximize key performance measures (e.g. ramp rate, NIGO resolution, mix shift opportunities)
  • Work closely with the Recruiting Team and participate in visits and meetings with new recruits to present the Osaic value proposition and transition process.
  • Must be able to build effective business relationships with internal and external stakeholders and Financial Professionals
  • Assist team members with research and resolution of escalated issues.
  • Act as an advocate for the transitioning Financial Professionals with any other areas across the organization to push for resolution, escalation of issues, and responsiveness to any questions
  • Continually seeks out and implements efficiencies and service/process improvements.
  • Provide career planning, goal setting and coaching support to team members
  • Facilitate all aspects of the performance management cycle including conducting annual reviews and establishing meaningful and relevant performance objectives
  • Exercise strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred, H.S. Diploma or GED certificate + Significant Practical Experience will be considered.

Basic Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Financial Services Industry experience in the broker-dealer or wealth management space inclusive of 2+ years as a supervisor/manager and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of transition or client facing experience.
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Experience and comfort with a high-volume setting with competing demands, multiple priorities, and fast-paced environment.
  • Action and detail oriented, working leader who works alongside the team to successfully drive key metrics.
  • Ability to work well cross-departmentally to ensure client expectations are met.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Industry Licenses such as SIE, series 6, 7, 65, 66, or 24/26 licenses
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Familiarity of Osaic technology applications and key brokerage systems
