The College of Arts and Sciences is currently looking to hire a part-time Research Coordinator (Temp) to provide support to the Psychology Department.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

The Research Coordinator (Temp) will serve as the primary point of contact to participants in this project.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Coordinate recruitment of community-dwelling older adult participants, which may involve travel to senior centers and outreach to senior organizations.
• Perform telephone pre-screenings to assess participant eligibility.
• Schedule participants' study visits and manage retention activities (e.g., place reminder calls and email directions to participants).
• Guide participants through the completion of cognitive tasks and questionnaires during their in-person study visit.
• Oversee progress towards study milestones, maintain study visit records, and track participant payments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, Gerontology, Neuroscience, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• At least one year of prior research experience is strongly preferred.
